The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice clinician, or physician, provides patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education, and advocacy. This role contributes to departmental goals by delivering compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policy. Through collaborative practice, the LPN is responsible for patient outcomes that meet ThedaCare's high quality of care and furthers the professional practice of nursing by promoting a culture of innovation and commitment to growth and professional development. ThedaCare is a community health system with seven hospitals, numerous clinics, and related services, employing approximately 6,800 individuals.
