About The Position
We’re looking for a dedicated LPN to join our 2nd shift team in a long-term care environment where your expertise and heart are truly valued. Ridgecrest is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) dedicated to exceptional, faith-based care in a serene, supportive setting. Set on 22 landscaped acres with mature trees, butterfly gardens, and peaceful outdoor seating, our campus encourages relaxation and connection with nature. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an LPN in Iowa
- Strong clinical expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep empathy
- Comfortable in a busy, collaborative work setting
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical exam, TB screening, and drug testing
- Parental or guardian consent for employment and any required testing (if under 18)
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience in a long-term care facility
Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients' health and giving medications
- Helping with daily activities
- Offering emotional support to both patients and their families
- Record patient progress
- Update care plans
- Make sure all healthcare rules and facility policies are followed
