About The Position

Community Heart & Vascular Hospital has a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position available. The LPN provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients experiencing cardiac and other emergent health conditions. The LPN assists with the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Responsibilities include medication administration within scope of practice, specimen collection and phlebotomy, obtaining vital signs, cardiac monitoring support, assisting with procedures, documentation, and reinforcing patient and family education. The LPN works closely with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support timely, safe, and compassionate patient care. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize care in an acute care setting while maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
