About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Crossroads Correctional Center in Cameron, Missouri. The LPN will provide comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff. This role involves responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs within the appropriate scope of practice.
Requirements
- Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be IV Certified
- Must be actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
