About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN Nights at their Surprise Rehab location. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement, flexible scheduling, a supportive leadership team, and an Employee Bonus Referral Program. The LPN will provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies and procedures. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- 2 years of experience in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gathering and reporting data.
- Carrying out orders.
- Performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
