About The Position
Classic LifeCare is a trusted, family-run home care agency with over 50 years of experience providing exceptional healthcare services. We take pride in our accreditation by Accreditation Canada. Classic LifeCare is currently hiring for Pediatric LPN positions for day and/or night shifts. We welcome experienced nurses and new grads looking to gain experience in pediatric care. This is a rewarding role where you can learn new skills, be challenged as a nurse, and make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families. We are looking for casual LPNs in Okotoks, AB.
Requirements
- Valid registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (required)
- Must have day and/or night shift availability
- Clear Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector clearance (required)
- Latest tuberculosis screening test (required)
- Current CPR certification (required)
- Ability to complete basic documentation via smartphone.

- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (an asset)
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care for infants and children
- Assisting with enteral tube feeding
- Performing oral, nasal, or deep suctioning
- Monitoring and managing seizures
- Administering medications
- Conducting catheterizations and catheter care
- Supporting diabetes management
- Monitoring and managing respiratory conditions
- Providing tracheostomy care (training provided)
- School assignments in the morning for back-to-school, community and home care may be involved
