About The Position

Allied Physicians is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Allergy Division. This role supports physicians in providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients and making a difference in their health and well-being. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule supporting the Allergy, Asthma & Sinus team across three Long Island locations.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in NY state
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Strong communication and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs
• Assist physicians during examinations and allergy-related procedures
• Administer allergy injections (immunotherapy) and monitor patients for reactions
• Perform or assist with allergy testing, such as skin prick testing
• Educate patients on allergy management, medications, and treatment plans
• Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Refill medications and communicate with pharmacies as directed by providers
• Recognize and respond to allergic reactions and emergencies, including anaphylaxis
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection-control standards
