Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Corning- Weekends
About The Position
Arisa Health is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join their residential facility in Corning. The LPN will provide direct care to adults, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and specimen collection. Experience working with adults in a clinical setting is required, and experience in a mental health facility is preferred. Arisa Health is a nonprofit behavioral health provider in Arkansas, offering a wide range of services including outpatient, crisis, substance abuse counseling, intensive services, medical, and residential care across 41 counties. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to the Program Coordinator.
Requirements
- Arkansas LPN License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as an LPN
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in a mental health facility
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation.
