About The Position

Birmingham Green is a person-centered care focus community, located in Manassas, Virginia. They have been providing high-quality and affordable care for over 90 years. This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a PRN Nights (11:00 pm - 7:30 am) basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Current license to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• CPR certification
• Able to work weekends

Nice To Haves

• One year experience
• Exposure to the senior population
• Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC)
• Desire to serve and care for the senior population

Responsibilities

• Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders
• Carry out admissions and re-admissions
• Document activities through Point Click Care (PCC), ADL Flow sheet, Restorative Sheets, various treatment sheets, charge sheets, etc., as established by the facility
• Direct and supervise the care given by a CNA/Med Aide
• Must be able to lift without restrictions
• Will also perform other duties as assigned
