Under the guidance of a Nurse Supervisor, this position: Provides daily nursing care, training, activities, and treatment to the people who live at the Regional Centers in accordance with all licensing and certification requirements, the South Carolina Nursing Practice Act, and BHDD-OIDD. Administer s rout in e oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications as well as treatments in accordance with nursing protocol, facility policies, and procedures. Monitors health conditions of the individuals and reports findings to medical provider and appropriate staff. Assist s physician/practitioner with examinations and treatments as needed. Maintains a safe and sanitary living and working environment. Ensures accountability and protection from harm for all individuals through appropriate and thorough documentation. Review s Monthly Medication Administration Record (MAR) and 90-day recertification orders, completes health care r e cords, AIMS/DISCUS, swallowing and SAOM Evaluations. Assists with weights and heights as ordered and indicated by policy and procedure s. P roper ly document s as needed. Performs and participates in activities as otherwise assigned by the supervisor to include, but not limited to, participation in on-call rotation procedure. Positions for this posting are located at Saleeby Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Hartsville, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This posting seeks to fill Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) positions on 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm) and 3rd shift (10:45 pm - 7:15 am). This position is eligible for up to $3.75/hour shift differential for applicable shifts! Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates will be distributed after one, six, and twelve months of successful continuous Full-Time employment.
