Requirements

Active LPN license in Missouri
Current CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

Experience in behavioral health or pediatric nursing
Background in inpatient psychiatric care
Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent nursing care in a behavioral health setting.
Monitor patient progress and support individualized care plans.
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support holistic care.
Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
Build professional relationships with patients, families, and team members.
Advocate for patient needs through collaborative problem-solving.
Continue learning through hands-on coaching, on-site instructors, and psychiatric provider training.
Support structured therapeutic programming that promotes coping skills, goals, mindfulness, and life skills.
Conduct education and processing groups with RNs and therapists.
Facilitate MHT-led groups focused on coping skills, goals, mindfulness, and life skills.
Engage in recreational therapy in designated spaces including the sensory room, library, gym, video game room, and outdoor space.
