About The Position
The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for our PRN nursing team. This role offers flexible scheduling in a faith-based senior living community that invests in team growth and recognition. The position is located in Arlington Heights, IL.
Requirements
- Current Illinois LPN license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and procedures
- Minimum of 4 shifts per month
- At least 1 weekend shift per month
- 1 observed holiday shift per calendar year
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
- Applicants may be subject to a background check.
- Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents under the direction of the care team
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions
- Support personalized care planning for each resident
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
- Communicate openly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Help create a supportive, respectful environment for residents
