About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Manager and functions within the LPN Scope of Practice. The LPN is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients with medical/surgical needs. This includes age appropriate interventions that meet physical, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs. The LPN is responsible for coordination and delivery of high quality care. Additionally they are responsible for attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, special projects and continued education.
Requirements
- High School Diploma General or GED General or Other / Diploma in Nursing
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year in a physician's practice or an Ambulatory environment is preferred
