About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within various healthcare settings across the United States. Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment (GA).
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing principles, patient care techniques, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills help maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and proper record-keeping.

- Experience working in a clinical or long-term care setting.
- Additional certifications such as IV therapy, wound care, or geriatric nursing.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene and mobility.
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to registered nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Support patients emotionally and psychologically by providing compassionate care and reassurance.
