About The Position

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a RN/LPN at Journey, you'll play a crucial role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This position follows a 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. shift schedule. Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of practice
  • A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct nursing care and administer medications as prescribed
  • Monitor resident conditions and report concerns to physicians or supervisors
  • Supervise and support CNAs and other care staff, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Participate in care planning and documentation
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Promote a safe and infection-controlled environment
  • Follow policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines in accordance with regulatory standards
