About The Position

The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing team in our skilled nursing facility. We want to speak with naturally caring, empathetic LPNs who are focused on providing the best quality of life possible for every patient in their care, with patience, courteousness and tactful interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors. LPNs at Parker Jewish Institute are responsible for the coordination and implementation of resident care on assigned units, supervising CNAs and providing outstanding patient-centered care. Requirements

  • Current and valid NYS LPN license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
  • Team member - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork

Nice To Haves

  • Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; we hire newly licensed LPNs!
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
