Sinai Residences is seeking dynamic and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to deliver care to residents utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Requirements
- LPN and is currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Current CPR certification.
- Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing
- Must have 2 years of nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Administers medications.
- Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
- Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
- Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
- Respond to the resident emergency call system as indicated.
- Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
- Keeps physician and family aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
- Assures continuity of services and care.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
