Northwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH) is recruiting for compassionate, dedicated behavioral health professionals to join their team. This role involves working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a multi-disciplinary team at the Urgent Recovery Center in Enid, Oklahoma. The center provides short-term crisis response, stabilization, and intervention for individuals experiencing mental health or chemical dependency crises. This program serves as an alternative to the Emergency Room for those needing urgent, same-day intervention. The LPN will perform direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, including taking vital signs and performing other technical nursing tasks. The Urgent Recovery Center offers up to 24 hours of crisis intervention and related services, aiming to reduce recidivism and connect individuals with community partners. The role may also involve participation in the Comprehensive Crisis Response System and deployment by the 988 call center as part of a Mobile Crisis Team. The position is specifically noted as being ideal for those who prefer working overnight hours.
