About The Position

Trails of Orono, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. Trails of Orono Senior Living is located in Orono, MN, in a serene wooded setting just west of Minneapolis and next to the Luce Line Trail. They help seniors Age Magnificently in their apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Trails of Orono is an established community with a fun, caring, and passionate team. Lifespark is a complete senior health company headquartered in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a LPN or RN
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents and tenants under the direction of the Director of Health Services while maintaining quality care that is consistent with company and regulatory standards in accordance with individual care plans.
Schedule and perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
Assume responsibility and accountability for the proper completion and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
Support the Director of Health Services on the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident/tenant population.
