Requirements

• Active Virginia LPN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care to customers and performs functions delegated and assigned by the center’s head nurse.
• Familiar with and follows HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintains record keeping of appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service through attitude and actions, consistent with the organization's Vision, Mission, and Values.
