Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active LPN license in good standing.
  • Clinical knowledge combined with empathy and a genuine passion for serving older adults.
  • Clear, kind, and confident communication with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
  • Dependable, organized, and calm under pressure.
  • Pride in providing care that preserves dignity and promotes independence.
  • Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and basic computer programs.

  • Experience in senior living or long-term care

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on nursing care, treatments, and medication administration with accuracy, attentiveness, and compassion.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents while monitoring their health, comfort, and overall well-being.
  • Complete admissions and assessments to ensure new residents feel welcomed and supported from day one.
  • Observe changes in condition and communicate proactively with physicians, families, and nursing leadership.
  • Ensure medications are administered safely and on time, documenting clearly and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Conduct routine rounds to check in on residents and provide reassurance, comfort, and clinical support.
  • Partner with CNAs and QMAs to guide care delivery and support a strong, team-centered environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Respond to nurse call systems promptly and thoughtfully, prioritizing resident needs.
