You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. As an LPN you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering treatments, assisting in assessments, and supporting interdisciplinary care planning in accordance with the patient's needs. Accurately performs patient assessments and identified patient needs. Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions. Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge. Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited licensed practical/vocational program.
  • Current state licensure as Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
  • CPR/BCLS certification.
  • IV Certified required or obtained within 6 months highly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred.
  • Minimum one year Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
