About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Rehabilitation unit. This PRN position involves providing compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). The LPN will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves utilizing specialized plan-of-care interventions and serving as a patient-care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys and leveraging skills and technology to impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Active Arkansas or compact state LPN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Associate's Degree required
