About The Position
Wellstar is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Pulmonary Medicine practice in LaGrange. The LPN will function under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and Practice Manager. The role involves recognizing patient needs and symptoms, preparing patients for exams, assisting with treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in the medical record. The LPN will also be involved in patient and family education and must demonstrate competency in serving patients of all ages.
Requirements
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Current BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date.
- Practical or Vocational Nursing Diploma
Responsibilities
