Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)- Youth Residential/ Lutherwood
About The Position
Community Health Network, created by and for its neighbors, focuses on providing exceptional care backed by state-of-the-art technology, community involvement, and caregiver development. Lutherwood, a licensed Residential Treatment Facility, specializes in the care and treatment of children aged 6-21 who exhibit behavioral or emotional impairments. It hosts programs such as the IMPACT Program for girls who have been victims of human trafficking, Trinity House Independent Living Group Home for young men transitioning from the foster system, and Emergency Shelter Care for young adults removed from their homes by the Department of Child Services. LCFS provides treatment through highly trained staff utilizing evidence-based practices. The Residential RN is expected to demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance, as well as the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
Nice To Haves
- RN experience preferred but will consider new graduates
