About The Position

The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems. This role utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, and ethics, and participates in the organization and management of the physicians' practice. MANA Urgent Care provides medical care to Northwest Arkansas seven days a week from 7 am to 7 pm at two locations in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our Urgent Care clinics offer a convenient, less costly alternative to the emergency room when you need medical care fast. Our clinics are staffed by MANA physicians focused on providing quality, convenient care to people in Northwest Arkansas. Requirements

  • Graduation certificate from accredited LPN/RN school of nursing
  • 12 – 18 months related experience and/or training
  • LPN/RN License

Responsibilities

  • Solicit information regarding the nature of the patients visit; observe and record vital signs
  • Set up as directed for procedures and exams; assist physician as needed
  • Perform EKGs, vision, and hearing screens, change dressing, remove suture and staples as needed
  • Perform lab tests as directed
