About The Position
Bryn Mawr Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in the Edgewater Neighborhood on the North Side of Chicago, IL, has Immediate Openings for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) or Registered Nurse (RNs). This is a PRN position for all shifts. Bryn Mawr Care is a 24/7 crisis intervention, assessment and treatment facility, providing specialized individual residential care for adults with psychiatric disorders. Located in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood, we are within walking distance of beautiful Lake Michigan, parks and lakefront trails.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
- Mental Health or Long-Term Care for Adults experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
- Excellent critical thinking capability
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders
Nice To Haves
- Psych nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of consumer care and the application of the nursing process
- Accountable for clinical oversight and positive clinical outcomes
- Supervise and lead CNAs and ensure the shift is fully staffed
