About The Position

Performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care. They are responsible for restocking of supplies in the work area and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program (for LPN)
  • Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri (for LPN)
  • BLS certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (for MA)
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - preferred (for MA)
  • Basic computer skills (for MA)
  • Skill in taking vital signs
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and public
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
  • Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) (for MA)
