Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Mental Health
About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse at the ATAMMC (Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center) - in Dumfries, Virginia. This opportunity will support active military members, veterans and their dependents. This is an outpatient environment with updated facilities, emphasizing work-life balance. The position offers a day shift schedule with no on-call, holidays, or weekends, and includes 11 paid Federal Holidays. The role involves working with a compliant and appreciative patient population, and offers the chance to give back and care for our Nation's military and their dependents.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) School / Program
- 2 years of LPN experience.
- Experience in Mental Health is preferred
- Valid and VA license
- Current BLS certification
- Must furnish immunizations
- Must be a U.S citizen (proof required)

Responsibilities
- Lead P.O.C. for psychiatrists & psychiatry patients
- Maintain accurate patient dosing records
- TOLS management psychiatrist
- Assist w/ training new personnel
- High Risk List management / ensure weekly f/u
- Management of vital sign equipment and room: working properly, charged, clean
