About The Position

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit. This full-time position operates on a day schedule with a 3x12 shift, from 7a-7p, including rotating weekends. The role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, contributing to the mission of making communities healthier. The Med Surg LPN will be part of a friendly, family-oriented environment that emphasizes teamwork and support, backed by approachable leadership.

Requirements

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license
• Graduate from a Practical Nursing program
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 90 days of hire
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months of hire
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• LPN License for the State of Tennessee
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.

Nice To Haves

• I.V. Competency preferred with intent to obtain within 1 year of hire
• Handle With Care (HWC) preferred
• One-year previous experience preferred.
