About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN. This role involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report data.
- Carry out orders.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
