About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) working day shifts. The position offers $40 per hour and is a local assignment with no travel reimbursement. Requirements

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
• Gather and report data.
• Carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
