About The Position
Vista Specialty Hospital Healthcare's Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients, adhering to established nursing standards and hospital policies. The LPN/LVN performs specific nursing services to promote health, prevent illness and injury, and provide care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN License issued in the state of facility location.
- BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred.
- Minimum one year’s prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.
- Performs specific nursing services designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury.
- Provides care based on standards established or recognized by the Board of Nursing, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
