Requirements
- Practical or Vocational Nursing Diploma
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date.
Responsibilities
- Recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.
- Prepares patients for exams.
- Assists during treatments.
- Coordinates tests and follow-up care.
- Records treatment in medical record.
- Helps with patient & family education.
- Demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
