More about our team Join the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where you will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. You will work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary rehabilitation team and play a crucial role in carrying out individualized care plans, administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient progress, and promoting patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to support patients as they regain strength, mobility, and independence in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care.

Requirements

  • Current state LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • PALS certification within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Assists RN with development of plan of care.
  • Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
