About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide home health services to patients in the Mountain Brook / Homewood area and surrounding communities. The role focuses on supporting patient recovery at home, enabling them to spend quality time with loved ones and pursue enjoyable activities. The LPN will also empower patients and families by educating them on disease management.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB screen and hepatitis consent/declination
• Two years of experience as an LPN in a clinical care setting, home health preferred

Responsibilities

• Support patient recovery and ability to stay at home
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy
• Empower patients and families to reach healthcare goals by educating them on disease management
