About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for home care cases, offering flexibility and a supportive culture. The role involves providing one-on-one care to clients of all ages and diagnoses, with opportunities for advanced care such as tracheostomy and ventilator management. The company provides extensive paid training, including access to award-winning simulation labs. This position emphasizes matching nurses with cases close to their homes to minimize commute times. There is a high-priority need for a reliable, experienced pediatric nurse for ongoing day shifts in Lakeland, working with a 4-year-old client who requires trach and vent management. While previous trach/vent experience is preferred, it is not required, as parents provide most trach care. The client is described as happy and energetic, and the parents are seeking a long-term nurse for at least two shifts per week. There are no pets in the home.

Requirements

Current valid nursing license.
Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
Current CPR Card.
Reliable and experienced pediatric nurse for high-priority case.
Interest in working with a specific client long-term.
Ability to work at least two shifts each week for the high-priority case.

Nice To Haves

Previous trach/vent experience preferred for the high-priority case.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
Care for clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
Administer advanced care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management, as needed.
Perform electronic charting using Statewise.
Work with pediatric and adult care cases.
Provide care for a 4-year-old client with a trach and vent, working at least two shifts per week.
Assist with trach care as needed, though parents handle most of it and all trach changes.
