Sr. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Family Medicine Clinic
About The Position
Senior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Lakewood Family Medicine Clinic. This is a Full-Time position (1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp) with a schedule of 5 x 8-hour Day Shifts, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A $7,500 Sign-On Bonus is available to qualified applicants. This role is within a collaborative Family Medicine clinic in Marquette, Michigan, focused on building patient relationships and impacting community health. You will work closely with providers and a supportive care team to deliver personalized, whole-person care in an outpatient setting, acting as an integral part of each patient's healthcare journey in a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- State of Michigan LPN license
- Graduated from an LPN or LVN Program
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
- Six (6) years of clinical experience
Responsibilities
- Collects and documents patient intake data.
- Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
- Provides patient support that reflects considerations for emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious and economic influences.
- Assists with routine clinic support activities.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Maintains appropriate, safe and therapeutic environment per clinic policy.
- Coordinates nursing staff to facilitate accessibility and continuity of care.
- Coordinates requests of physicians and office staff about patient activities and needs.
