About The Position
Glendive Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you'll provide direct nursing care, support resident health and well-being, and work closely with providers, residents, families, and fellow caregivers to deliver high-quality care. As an LPN at GMC, you will provide direct patient care and assist in coordinating treatment plans under the direction of Registered Nurses and healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current Montana LPN License or Compact LPN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Perform nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other treatments within scope of practice
- Assess resident needs and contribute to care planning and ongoing evaluations
- Document resident care and clinical observations accurately and timely
- Respond to resident requests and provide compassionate support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
- Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and other direct care staff
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and safety regulations
