About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor or Practice. The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction. This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in the medical record. The LPN assists with patient and family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.
Requirements
- High School Diploma General or GED General or Other / Certificate Nursing
- Georgia LPN License
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare experience
- Experience in ambulatory, outpatient setting
