Our Employee Health team is a vital part of the employee experience at Harris Regional. Requirements

  • Active North Carolina or compact state LPN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Employee Health Manager, assists with performing patient assessments in relation to employment with the facility.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communication regarding changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Completes other tasks, within scope of position, as delegated by the Employee Health Manager and Director of People Services.
