About The Position

Prairie Cardiovascular Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Device Clinic. The LPN plays an important role in the clinic setting, performing various clinical and administrative tasks to assist patients through their healthcare journey. LPNs assist in planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs and furthering the mission of the organization by providing high-quality, respectful care to all. The LPN is responsible for reviewing all incoming remote device transmissions, ensuring timely evaluation of patient data. These checks are triaged and forwarded to providers for interpretation, enabling efficient clinical decision-making.

Requirements

• Completion of state approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of LPN experience.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Reviewing all incoming remote device transmissions.
• Ensuring timely evaluation of patient data.
• Triaging and forwarding device checks to providers for interpretation.
• Assisting in planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs.
