About The Position
White Springs Senior Living is looking for a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to lead medication management and resident care in our Assisted Living community. This isn't just a nursing job — it's a leadership role. You'll oversee our medication program, mentor Resident Assistants, and be a trusted voice for residents' health and wellbeing, all within a warm, family-style community where your work truly matters.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Minimum age of 21
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a senior living environment
- Strong leadership instincts and a genuine passion for senior care
Responsibilities
- Administer and document medications per physician orders and state regulations
- Ensure timely medication administration and help coordinate resident prescription refills
- Communicate directly with physicians and healthcare providers on medications, treatments, and therapies
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Respond promptly to resident emergency call systems
- Supervise, support, and mentor Resident Assistants (RAs), fostering a positive team culture
- Step in to support Resident Assistant duties as needed
