About The Position

Seeking a Part Time - Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN to join our team, working 3 days a week (24 hours) Monday - Friday. Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill Presbyterian Homes’ mission, purpose, motto, commitment to service, promise, and practices by putting “Smiles in the Eyes of our Residents”.
  • Provide and monitor high-quality clinical care and services to residents consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices.
  • Monitor the work of Medication Assistants, Resident Assistants and Resident Aides in the community on his/her assigned shift.
  • Report directly to the RN, Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Administrator as designated at the site and may take direction from the Community Coordinator.
