About The Position
South Western School District is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing services for a 6th-grade student during the 2026-2027 school year. The student requires nursing support related to G-tube care and venting, along with monitoring of a seizure disorder. Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with pediatric or medically fragile students preferred.
- Knowledge of G-tube care and seizure support is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care during the school day.
- Assist with G-tube care and venting as outlined in the student's care plan.
- Monitor the student's health status and seizure-related needs.
- Document nursing services and communicate with appropriate school personnel.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
