Licensed Practical Nurse II - CONTINUOUS
About The Position
The Veterans Home at Chelsea is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing services in its onsite, long-term care facility for veterans. The facility provides health care, residential accommodations, and social and educational services to veterans, including long-term care and domiciliary services. The LPN provides direct nursing and other aspects of care, helps ensure that clients’ needs are met and that safe staffing is in place, and provides guidance and reviews performance for effectiveness and compliance with professional standards, patient care standards, and agency policies. Various shifts and days off are available. This is an emergency personnel position: employees must report to work during a declared State of Emergency and in non-emergency situations or adverse weather.
Requirements
- At least one year of paraprofessional experience in the field of nursing as a licensed practical nurse.
- Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.

- Ability to transcribe, read, and comprehend English.
