Licensed Practical Nurse II (PRN)- Oncology Clinic
About The Position
Hollings Cancer Center Clinic is a busy adult Oncology clinic that sees a wide variety of oncology patients. Our clinic team consists of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and administrative assistants who work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality and safety of care for our patients. Each clinic workflow varies depending on the clinic, but includes working as a team that includes: patient triage, in-clinic procedures, assessments, patient education, medication administration, CVC line care, obtaining EKG, and care coordination. Team members work alongside providers (including physicians, PAs and NPs) during patient clinic visits to provide the needed care our patients deserve. Other team members that we work alongside include: Social workers, Pharmacists, and Phlebotomists.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program
- Six months of patient care experience required
- Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
- A current CPR card is required; either an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card or an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer card
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
