About The Position

Osprey Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide hands-on resident care in a senior living community. The role includes professional and restorative nursing services, resident assessments, recording vital signs, and administering medications and treatments. The nurse provides timely and accurate verbal and written reports, follows resident care plans, and responds rapidly to emergency situations. The position is full-time on the 3–11 shift and requires work every other weekend.

Requirements

Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Ability to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards.
Ability to use electronic records, miscellaneous software, and office equipment.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Four-year college or university degree desired.
1–2 years of experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments and recording vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments properly and on time.
Keep timely written and verbal documentation to support quality care.
Interact with residents’ physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel as needed.
Follow resident care plans and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
Assist with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of team members.
Attend and participate in required in-service training and education programs.
Respond rapidly to emergency situations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
