About The Position

RestorixHealth is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse / HBO Technician to provide wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to referred patients. The technician conducts initial and ongoing age-specific assessments within designated time frames, provides therapy, and operates hyperbaric chambers. The role works collaboratively with other disciplines at the assigned unit and uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Training is provided. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. Requirements

Valid and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Current state certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-CC, or EMT-P), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN); other advanced medical certifications will be considered.
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical ability to perform CPR.

Nice To Haves

Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) training or certification preferred.
Prior experience with wound care patients preferred; training will be provided.
Prior experience with an electronic medical records (EMR) system preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients referred for treatment.
Participate in the department’s quality improvement plan and assist with collecting data for Quality Assurance and Education.
Document all care accurately and completely according to hospital and department policy.
Provide therapy and operate, maintain, and clean hyperbaric chambers as required.
Recognize changes in patients’ conditions and intervene appropriately.
Enter all patient treatment notes into RestorixHealth’s EMR system.
Comply with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
Follow patient safety initiatives and infection control procedures outlined in the hospital safety manual.
Use hospital resources, supplies, and equipment appropriately.
Provide outstanding customer service to patients, family members, referring physicians, and coworkers.
