The LPN role within Executive and Development Health involves patient visits that include reviewing patient health history, medication review, immunization administration, cerumen removal (microsuction), focused nutrition assessments, and blood pressure visits. Patient visits can also be conducted by phone, with opportunities for rotational remote work. Telehealth encounters may include updating health information, researching prescription discrepancies, and facilitating prior authorization denials. The LPN collaborates daily with providers, desk operations specialists, patient appointment service specialists, interpreters, and medical secretaries. The Executive and Development Health program is part of General Internal Medicine and utilizes a team approach to provide comprehensive, expedited healthcare evaluations for working executive-level employees.
